This page explains how the Mediae website, mediae.app, handles your personal data. It is written to meet Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, for visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the GDPR.

Who is responsible

Mediae and this website are run by Daniel Huete, an individual based in Thailand, who is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: hello@mediae.app.

What we collect

Only your email address, and only if you join the waitlist. The site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics, advertising or tracking. Fonts are served from this site itself, not from a third party.

Why, and on what basis

We use your email address only to send you occasional news about Mediae, such as when it’s ready to use. We do this because you asked us to by joining the waitlist (your consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing or writing to us; this doesn’t affect anything we sent before.

Who else handles it

Your address is stored with Resend, the service we use to keep the waitlist and send email. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which briefly processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse — for example, to limit how many sign-ups one address can make in a minute. Both are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country; they process it only on our instructions and under their own data protection commitments. We don’t sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we stop sending news about Mediae — whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or receive a copy of it, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. Write to hello@mediae.app and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee, or to the data protection authority where you live.

If this page changes, the date at the top will change with it.
